AI-Guided Digital Business takes the center stage at ThoughtWorks Live India 2018

ThoughtWorks, a global software consultancy, successfully concluded its India chapter of ThoughtWorks Live 2018 in Bengaluru on 29 November. With this year’s theme being AI-Guided Digital Business, the platform saw leading industry voices share insights and experiences of how to build an AI-first culture, navigate data deluge and measure success in digital transformation journeys.

The event hosted decision-makers, industry experts and thought leaders to discuss and ideate on leading the AI-guided revolution and the need for organizations to realign structures and technology platforms to keep up with the latest advancements. Commenting on the event, Sudhir Tiwari and Sameer Soman, Managing Directors – India, ThoughtWorks said, “AI is a revolutionary tech that is set to impact humankind by bringing technological singularity to life. An AI-first approach is more relevant today than ever before because of easy access to expansive compute power, overwhelming data, connected systems, and advanced algorithms. Given the possibilities of what AI could do, we need to ensure that AI is inclusive, unbiased and ethical. But, it needs patience. AI has a long way to go before we realize the full extent of AI innovations.”

The event saw an attendance of 123 participants and some renowned individuals as key speakers – Jaspreet Bindra – Digital Transformation Advisor to ThoughtWorks, Crystal Widjaja – Senior VP – Business Intelligence, Go-Jek, Deepak Sharma, Chief Digital Officer, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Dr. Shailesh Kumar – Chief Data Scientist, Reliance Jio and Javagal Srinath – Former Indian cricketer, ICC match referee shared their knowledge and expertise on stage.
